Responsibilities

• Identify and initiate contact with new suppliers to establish accounts
• Negotiate pricing, shipping terms, and payment conditions
• Analyze pricing and competition to determine product profitability
• Track product sales, monitor trends, and make timely reorder decisions
• Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply chain flow
• Lead and manage the purchasing department’s day-to-day operations
• Collaborate with internal teams to align inventory strategy with marketplace goals
• Make data-driven purchasing decisions that align with profitability targets

Job Qualifications and Skills Set

• Proven experience in Amazon purchasing or supply chain roles
• Deep knowledge of Amazon’s marketplace dynamics and retail operations
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage supplier communications and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Comfortable using spreadsheets and marketplace analytics tools
• Experience leading teams or departments is a strong plus
