Appointment Setter/Sales Development Representative

Job Overview
In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for identifying aged care facilities operating under the Aged Care Industry Labour Agreement, qualifying them based on operational needs and setting appointments with decision-makers. Your outreach will support international workforce placement solutions through structured messaging and value-driven conversations. You'll manage prospect pipelines using CRM tools and ensure every interaction is tracked and optimized for conversion.
Responsibilities
Lead Research & Qualification
- Identify aged care providers with active Labour Agreement (LA) approvals
- Research targets using My Aged Care, ABN Lookup, RSBS and other public sources
- Create and maintain lead databases with essential provider information: contact details, LA status, bed count, hiring activity and location
- Qualify providers by reviewing their size, staffing needs, job listings and visibility
Outbound Outreach & Appointment Setting
- Initiate cold and warm outreach via LinkedIn, email and phone using customised scripts
- Schedule qualified meetings with HR Managers, Facility Directors and Operations Leaders
- Tailor communications to address specific provider needs and highlight service value
CRM & Sales Tool Management
- Use tools like HubSpot, Pipedrive, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hunter.io, Mailshake, or Lemlist
- Maintain clean CRM records with full documentation of contacts, follow-ups and next actions
Engagement & Follow-Up
- Follow up with non-responsive leads within a 3–5 day window
- Share relevant content such as Labour Agreement summaries and visa sponsorship guides
- Support transition from initial interest to booked consultations or sales meetings
Sales Support & Relationship Building
- Assist Account Executives or Business Development Managers with lead handoffs
- Help build long-term relationships through ongoing communication and value delivery
- Promote benefits like:
- Access to pre-qualified international carers
- Simplified visa sponsorship processes
- Long-term retention through PR pathways
- Reduced turnover and enhanced patient care continuity
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Knowledge of Australia’s aged care system and industry staffing challenges
- Familiarity with TSS (482) and ENS (186) visa types and ANZSCO occupation codes
- Experience in lead generation, appointment setting, or SDR roles
- Strong proficiency in CRM and sales enablement tools
- Excellent written and spoken English communication
- Highly organized, self-driven and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working independently in a deadline-driven, outreach-heavy environment
