Responsibilities
- Design engaging book covers for print and digital releases
- Collaborate with internal teams and authors to refine concepts
- Incorporate feedback and iterate on designs quickly and accurately
- Prepare print-ready files compatible with KDP, IngramSpark, and similar platforms
- Ensure consistent quality and alignment with project timelines and brand aesthetics
Job Qualifications and Skills Set
- 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in publishing
- Strong portfolio showcasing book layout and cover design work
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Familiarity with typography, layout, and formatting tools in InDesign
- Understanding of print vs. digital design standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bonus: Knowledge of KDP and IngramSpark technical specs
