Job Overview
As a Chat Support Agent, you will be the first point of contact for customers using live chat channels. You’ll respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a smooth customer experience—all while maintaining professionalism and meeting performance goals. Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries in real time via chat with professionalism and accuracy
- Resolve issues and provide helpful information to improve customer satisfaction
- Maintain a positive and customer-first tone in every interaction
- Adhere to daily and weekly performance metrics and response time standards
- Manage multiple chat conversations efficiently while ensuring quality service
- Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and overtime
- Remain focused and effective in either a remote or office-based environment
Job Qualifications and Skills Set
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Reliable with strong time management and multitasking abilities
Preferred
- Prior experience in customer service or live chat support
- Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new systems
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
