Job Overview

As a Chat Support Agent, you will be the first point of contact for customers using live chat channels. You’ll respond to inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a smooth customer experience—all while maintaining professionalism and meeting performance goals. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity for overtime, making it ideal for candidates who are organized, dependable, and comfortable with technology.

 

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries in real time via chat with professionalism and accuracy
  • Resolve issues and provide helpful information to improve customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a positive and customer-first tone in every interaction
  • Adhere to daily and weekly performance metrics and response time standards
  • Manage multiple chat conversations efficiently while ensuring quality service
  • Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and overtime
  • Remain focused and effective in either a remote or office-based environment

 

Job Qualifications and Skills Set

  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Reliable with strong time management and multitasking abilities

Preferred

  • Prior experience in customer service or live chat support
  • Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new systems
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
