Job Overview
The Customer Service Associate will support daily healthcare operations by assisting patients, providers and office staff through effective communication and accurate documentation. This role requires professionalism, strong clinical support skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced medical environment. Responsibilities
Patient & Provider Communication
- Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding appointments, inquiries and patient needs
- Communicate using appropriate medical terminology when speaking with patients and healthcare staff
- Provide clear, empathetic and professional assistance on every call
Documentation & Administrative Support
- Record all patient interactions and follow‑up actions accurately in the system
- Update patient records, verify information and support scheduling workflows
- Assist with routine administrative tasks to support clinic operations
Issue Resolution & Coordination
- Identify common issues and resolve them independently
- Escalate complex or urgent concerns to the appropriate team or supervisor
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations
Compliance & Standards
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with healthcare privacy regulations
- Follow company procedures, documentation standards and quality expectations
Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare or medical office environment preferred
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills
- Ability to manage high call volumes with professionalism and efficiency
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare administrative workflows
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in documentation
- Proficiency with call management tools and office software
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities
- Reliable, team‑oriented and adaptable
