Job Overview
The Customer Service Representative will provide email, chat, and phone support to customers purchasing premium eyewear and accessories. You will be trained on internal tools and SOPs, then transition into a key daytime role. Candidates should be proactive, tech-savvy, and capable of leading or mentoring others in the future.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via email and chat using Gorgias
- Provide inbound phone support after training, with a professional and empathetic approach
- Manage orders, returns, exchanges, and warranties using Shopify
- Follow internal procedures and maintain accurate records of customer interactions
- Identify customer issues and recommend improvements to workflows or service practices
- Help maintain service quality by documenting feedback and collaborating with the team
- (Optional) Assist with social media tasks or light content creation if skilled in those areas
Job Qualifications and Skills Set
- Fluent, neutral-accented spoken and written English
- 2+ years in customer service, support, or call center roles
- Advanced Gorgias experience (must have)
- Proficiency with Shopify order handling
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
- Independent, organized, and comfortable with remote systems
Preferred
- Experience with social media management or video editing (a plus)
- Interest or background in team coordination or leadership
- Familiarity with fast-paced ecommerce environments
