Job Overview
As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll provide front-line support for a company specializing in gardening supplies, seasonal bulbs and horticultural products. You’ll assist customers via email, phone and live chat, answering product questions, resolving order issues and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the growing season.
You’ll also work with fulfillment and inventory teams to troubleshoot shipping issues, handle refunds or replacements and maintain accurate records of each interaction. Strong attention to detail and a proactive, people-first mindset are essential.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, shipping, returns, and product care
- Assist with placing or modifying orders through the e-commerce platform
- Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and seasonality
- Communicate shipping updates and handle replacement or refund requests
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues
- Document interactions and outcomes using CRM or ticketing tools
- Maintain a courteous and efficient tone in all communications
Job Qualifications and Skills Set
- At least 1 year of customer service experience (voice, chat, or email)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of e-commerce platforms or order systems
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines during peak seasons
- Familiarity with gardening or seasonal retail a plus (not required)
