Job Overview

As a Shopify Listing Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and managing product listings in Shopify. This role requires a strong eye for detail, comfort with Shopify’s backend, and the ability to handle listings efficiently in a growing eCommerce environment. You'll work closely with internal teams to ensure that product information is complete, accurate, and aligned with branding and marketing goals.

The role begins as a part-time position at 20 hours per week for the first 2 months, increasing to 30 hours/week during months 3–5, and transitioning to full-time (40 hours/week) starting on the 6th month.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create and update product listings in Shopify with accurate titles, descriptions, pricing, and images.
  • Ensure all listings comply with company guidelines and meet branding standards.
  • Optimize product listings for SEO and conversion using relevant keywords and formatting.
  • Monitor inventory and ensure all product data is up to date.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather necessary content and images.
  • Identify and correct listing errors or inconsistencies.
  • Assist in preparing product collections, promotional tags, and category placements.

 

Job Qualifications and Skills Set

  • Proven experience working with Shopify, especially in managing product listings.
  • Background in eCommerce, merchandising, or digital product management is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of SEO for product listings.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce best practices.
  • Good written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing evolving priorities.
