Job Overview
As the Marketing Assistant, you’ll work closely with the company founder and remote team to manage cross-functional responsibilities—from customer engagement and vendor coordination to marketing support and strategic planning. The ideal candidate is highly organized, resourceful, and excited about interiors, design, and architecture.
Responsibilities
Customer Support & Communication
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
- Generate quotes, follow up on leads, and process orders
- Provide empathetic and tailored communication to foster repeat business
Marketing Support
- Assist with social media content, email campaigns, and SEO/blog writing
- Support ad campaign management and track competitor activity
- Maintain press and promotional documentation
Team & Vendor Coordination
- Communicate with remote team members, warehouses, and factories
- Help track inventory flow, logistics, and fulfillment timelines
Inventory & Website Management
- Monitor product listings, stock levels, and site accuracy
- Support updates on the company website and third-party marketplaces
Strategic & Administrative Support
- Contribute to planning meetings, project tracking, and documentation
- Help develop internal process guides and training documentation
Job Qualifications and Skills Set
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Reliable and self-directed with strong time management
- Proficient in Excel, retail math, and unit conversions
- Strong analytical thinking and pattern recognition
- Passion for design, interiors, or architecture
Preferred
- Familiarity with Google, Meta, or Pinterest ad platforms
- Experience with Canva, Adobe tools, or light video editing
- Prior experience with CRM systems, Shopify, or online ads
