Job Overview
As a Project Manager, you will lead projects that span production optimization, digital platform integration, new product launches, and fulfillment improvements. You’ll act as a strategic link between departments such as manufacturing, IT, marketing, logistics, and sales. Your ability to drive results, manage technical and operational details, and align stakeholders is key to the success of projects ranging from ERP implementations to e-commerce platform upgrades.
Scope of Work
- Oversee end-to-end execution of projects across manufacturing operations and digital commerce
- Manage initiatives like production line optimization, ERP/WMS implementation, and e-commerce upgrades
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to align physical and digital workflows
- Support product launches and fulfillment strategies integrated with systems like Shopify, Magento, Amazon, etc.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close projects related to manufacturing operations and e-commerce systems
- Develop scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans for each initiative
- Implement and manage digital platforms such as ERP, WMS, and e-commerce tools
- Lead cross-functional teams from operations, IT, logistics, procurement, and marketing
- Align production milestones with inventory and sales systems to ensure operational flow
- Manage third-party integrations and vendor relationships for connected systems
- Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, uptime, and customer satisfaction
- Identify and mitigate risks to minimize disruptions and maintain quality standards
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and e-commerce platform requirements
- Report project status and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders
- Conduct post-project reviews and propose process improvements
Job Qualifications and Skills Set
- Proven experience managing projects in manufacturing, supply chain, or e-commerce
- Strong understanding of ERP, WMS, and e-commerce platforms
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-departmental teams
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
Preferred
- PMP or similar project management certification
- Experience with platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Amazon Seller Central, etc.
- Background in managing technical integrations and third-party vendor coordination
