Job Overview

As a Sales Business Development Professional, you’ll work to expand an ever-growing customer base by selling both new and refurbished technology solutions. This role requires entrepreneurial thinking, a passion for solving customer problems, and a proactive approach to driving revenue. You'll be trusted to innovate, engage customers consultatively, and help position technology offerings for maximum impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an expanding portfolio of business clients, focusing on selling technology products including computers, laptops, monitors, printers, phones, phone systems, telecom equipment, peripherals, and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services.
  • Develop strong product knowledge to offer tailored solutions that meet client needs.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with business clients by providing outstanding support and follow-up.
  • Gather accurate client information, assess needs, and make confident, consultative sales recommendations.
  • Actively prospect, locate, and close new business opportunities through outbound efforts.
  • Provide ongoing consultation and advice to clients about product and service options.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales, profit, and productivity goals.

 

Job Qualifications and Skills Set

  • 3+ years of proven success in sales or business development roles (preferred).
  • Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry (preferred).
  • Previous outbound sales or B2B sales experience is highly valued.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations to new and existing clients.
  • Strong consultative selling, client relationship management, and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to innovate and solve customer problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of organizational skills with attention to detail and quality.
