Job Overview

As a Sales Opener, you will be instrumental in setting up successful client engagements. Your primary duties include initiating conversations, gathering insurance and qualification details, managing chats, and ensuring a smooth transition of qualified leads to closers. You will also maintain relationships with past clients by conducting outbound calls to reintroduce services.

This role requires clear communication, quick thinking, Salesforce and CRM proficiency, and a strong commitment to client service. Your work will lay the foundation for a successful sales cycle and directly impact company growth.

 

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and manage inbound and outbound calls to identify, qualify, and prepare prospects for sales closers.
  • Conduct chat conversations to assist prospects and gather preliminary information.
  • Schedule follow-up calls and appointments between qualified leads and closers.
  • Gather insurance details and ensure client records are complete and accurate.
  • Document all client interactions and qualification outcomes in Salesforce CRM.
  • Proactively reengage past clients through outbound communication to revive opportunities.
  • Support follow-up efforts and help the closing team with additional client touchpoints when needed.
  • Maintain high professionalism during calls, ensuring clear, confident communication without long pauses.

 

Job Qualifications and Skills Set

  • 1+ year of experience in a call center, inside sales, or sales development role.
  • Excellent spoken English, with a clear and professional phone presence.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, MS Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to think quickly and manage conversations in a structured, timed setting.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with soft-phone applications within Salesforce.
  • Basic knowledge of Facebook Meta Chat platforms is a plus.
