Job Overview
As a Telemarketer, you'll play a key role in our sales pipeline by engaging with prospects across industries such as field services, construction, oil & gas, and logistics. You'll introduce them to Geotab—the #1 telematics platform—and Surfsight—the leading AI-connected dashcam. This role involves outbound calls, lead follow-up, email engagement, and active demo scheduling. You'll be trained on the product, customer persona, and target industries to help you deliver effective outreach.
Responsibilities
- Make 75+ outbound calls per day to both new and existing prospects.
- Reach out to email-engaged leads from Apollo or Breve campaigns.
- Qualify leads and book product demos for Geotab and Surfsight solutions.
- Attend scheduled demos alongside the team (demo presented by a team member).
- Send follow-up emails, including relevant articles from Geotab or company blogs.
- Share pricing proposals with qualified prospects.
- Send DocuSign contracts to prospects ready to proceed.
- Close deals with a target of 30+ device activations per week.
Job Qualifications and Skills Set
- 1–3 years in telemarketing, cold calling, or inside sales preferred.
- Experience in B2B or tech-based selling is a plus.
- Confident communicator with strong phone presence.
- Self-motivated with high energy and ability to meet call and conversion goals.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills (CRM/email tools familiarity is a plus).
- Comfortable handling objections and guiding prospects through the sales funnel.
- Goal-oriented with a drive to close sales.
- Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent in performance.
