Job Overview

We are seeking a highly creative, data-driven and hands-on Social Media Manager & Video Content Specialist to support a growing portfolio of consumer brands. This role sits at the intersection of social media strategy, content creation, community management and video production. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller with advanced video editing skills, a deep understanding of social media platforms and the ability to create engaging content that drives audience growth, engagement and conversions.

 

Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Develop and maintain monthly social media content calendars
  • Create, schedule and publish engaging content across major social media platforms
  • Write compelling captions, copy and calls-to-action aligned with brand objectives
  • Manage day-to-day community engagement, including comments, messages and audience interactions
  • Monitor social media trends, platform updates and emerging content opportunities
  • Execute content strategies designed to increase engagement, brand awareness and conversions
  • Coordinate content approvals and publishing schedules
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels

Video Content Production & Editing

  • Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, websites, digital campaigns and paid advertising
  • Transform raw footage into engaging, mobile-first content optimized for audience retention
  • Create compelling hooks, captions, motion graphics, transitions and storytelling elements
  • Produce content in multiple formats, including vertical, square and landscape orientations
  • Develop multiple creative variations for testing and optimization
  • Apply sound design, text overlays and visual enhancements to improve performance
  • Ensure all video assets meet platform specifications and best practices

Content & Asset Management

  • Organize and maintain digital asset libraries
  • Manage content files, project folders and version control processes
  • Ensure all creative assets are properly categorized and accessible
  • Maintain quality standards and consistency across all content deliverables

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor content performance across social media platforms
  • Track engagement, reach, audience growth and conversion metrics
  • Identify top-performing content and recommend optimization strategies
  • Prepare performance reports with actionable insights
  • Utilize analytics to guide future content planning and creative direction

 

Job Qualifications and Skill Set

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Arts, Advertising, Digital Media or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, content marketing or digital marketing
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional video editing experience
  • Proven portfolio showcasing social media campaigns and video editing work
  • Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends and platform best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
