Supply Chain Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Supply Chain Manager to oversee inventory planning, demand forecasting, production coordination and logistics operations across multiple sales channels. This role is critical to ensuring optimal inventory levels, efficient fulfillment processes and seamless coordination between suppliers, warehouses and distribution partners. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive and experienced in managing complex supply chain operations within an e-commerce and retail environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Demand Planning & Inventory Management

  • Analyze sales trends, historical data and market demand to forecast inventory requirements accurately
  • Develop inventory strategies to ensure optimal stock levels across multiple fulfillment locations
  • Monitor inventory performance to prevent stock shortages and excess inventory
  • Create and manage purchase orders in collaboration with leadership and key stakeholders
  • Coordinate with warehouse and fulfillment partners to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Track inventory movement and recommend replenishment strategies based on sales forecasts
  • Production & Supplier Management

  • Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to manage purchase orders and production schedules
  • Monitor production timelines to ensure products are delivered on schedule
  • Evaluate product quality and supplier performance to maintain operational standards
  • Collaborate with suppliers to implement product updates, improvements and process enhancements
  • Support quality control initiatives and resolve supply chain issues proactively
  • Logistics & Fulfillment Operations

  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely product delivery
  • Coordinate shipments between suppliers, warehouses and fulfillment centers
  • Oversee inventory allocation across retail, direct-to-consumer and marketplace channels
  • Ensure compliance with shipping, packaging, labeling and fulfillment requirements
  • Work with logistics providers and warehouse partners to improve operational efficiency
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality and delivery performance
  • Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Monitor key supply chain metrics and performance indicators
  • Develop reports on inventory health, forecasting accuracy, fulfillment performance and operational efficiency
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement scalable supply chain solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and operational objectives

 

Job Qualifications and Skill Set

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, inventory control or related roles
  • Strong demand forecasting and sales trend analysis skills
  • Experience managing inventory across multiple sales channels, including retail, eCommerce and marketplaces
  • Strong understanding of inventory planning, replenishment strategies and warehouse operations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, spreadsheets and inventory reporting tools
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting direct-to-consumer (DTC) and marketplace operations
  • Familiarity with Amazon fulfillment processes and third-party logistics (3PL) operations
  • Experience with ERP, inventory management or supply chain software platforms
  • Background in retail, consumer products, apparel or eCommerce industries
